“I will not!” Danny shouted.

“Oh, Danny, come on,” Jimmy said, pouting slightly.

“No freakin’ way.”

“Why not?”

“Because I don’t want to. Get Langly.”

"No way!” Langly shook his head, folding his arms across his chest. “I haven’t done anything like that in thirty-two years.”

“Not surprised there,” Frohike added.

Langly glared at the older man. “Get Byers.”

“I’m busy,” Byers cleared his throat nervously. “Besides, it’s been a few years since I’ve done anything remotely like that. Danny, you’re the best one for the job.”

“That is so sexist. Just because I’m a female, doesn’t make me the best one for the job. This is the twenty-first century, after all. Frohike, you can - ”

“I told you no,” Frohike interrupted. “I refuse to participate in this.”

“But you’re just as good as I am, possibly even more.”

“Don’t try to worm me into Jimmy’s fantasy.”

“Besides, I want you,” Jimmy said to Danny. He gave her a dopey grin, the one he knew she couldn’t say no to.

Danny sighed. “Fine, fine. I’ll do it. But I don’t have to like it. And Jimmy?”

“Yeah?”

“This is only a one time deal, okay?”

“Okay.” Jimmy shrugged.

Danny looked at the three gunmen watching her. “You know, I don’t work too well when I have an audience.”

“Oh, this I want to see,” Langly replied, crossing his arms.

“Out!” Danny shouted. The guys beat a hasty retreat. She turned around and saw Jimmy grinning at her. “What?”

“Man, you know how long I’ve waited for this?”

Danny sighed. “How long?”

“Ever since college.” He looked worried. “What if I screw up again?”

Danny shrugged. “Well, I’ve been doing this since I was sixteen, so don’t worry. Just try not to spill anything.” She went to the cupboard and pulled out two chef’s aprons, tossing one to Jimmy. “So, what would you like to cook first?”
